These are two-bedroom/two bath condos, each on two floors, ideal for two, three or four guests. However, they can accommodate up to six using the queen sofa-bed in the living room. They are fully equipped, with complete kitchen (including a dishwasher), two full bathrooms (bath and shower), powder room, washer, dryer, security safe, central A/C as well as cable TV, a DVD-player, wireless high-speed Internet access (no charge), and a patio off the living room. The ocean view condos are located behind the beachfront condos and offer a partial view of the sea. The beachfront condos, with two balconies as well as the ground-floor patio, offer superb Caribbean views, and directly overlook our sandy beach, seaside pool and the sea.

This very luxurious, two-bedroom/two-bath, ground-floor beachfront villa has a terrific deck overlooking the Caribbean Sea. It’s fully equipped, in immaculate condition, and located just a short walk down the beach from Turtle Nest Inn. It’s an ideal getaway for those seeking intimacy and seclusion in the Caribbean.

The beach house is equipped with central A/C, large-screen HDTV with cable, Blu-Ray player, a surround-sound system, ceiling fans, phone, high-speed Wi-Fi (free of charge), hairdryer, ceramic tile throughout, etc. It has a complete designer kitchen with dishwasher, two full bathrooms, washer and dryer, a furnished deck overlooking the beach and sea, as well as a furnished patio (with BBQ).


For those seeking seclusion, or who simply prefer their own, private villa, we wholeheartedly recommend Coral Beach House, and are proud to be managing it as the exclusive booking agents. It’s very well maintained, the rates are extremely attractive, and a rental car is included throughout your stay, picked up and dropped off right at the airport.

Moon Bay Condos are located on a sandy beach in Bodden Town, less than 2 miles down the road from Turtle Nest Inn. These terrific beachfront condos are ideal for a couple or a family seeking luxurious accommodation with everything you need to “do your own thing”.

The condos at Moon Bay are fully equipped, and part of an intimate condo complex which has recently been completely renewed, with tennis court, sandy beach, pool, pool deck and poolside cabanas. Stays are booked with a rental car included — at no extra cost — picked up and dropped right at the airport.


The condos are very spacious, clean and comfortable, with full kitchen, king bed, two full bathrooms (with tub and shower), flat-screen TV with cable, a DVD-player and central A/C. They offer great views from your private screened-in patio, and overlook the Caribbean Sea as well as the pool deck, with its tables, chairs, chaises lounges, and cabanas. Each condo can sleep up to six, using the two additional bedrooms (at extra cost), each furnished with a queen bed.

The condos and surrounding grounds are well-maintained, and full housekeeping is done before you arrive, and after you leave. You’ll also have on hand a full second set of linen and towels, including beach towels, with access to a coin-operated washer and dryer. We wholeheartedly recommend Moon Bay Condo, and are proud to be handling all reservations, especially given the extremely attractive rates.

Accommodations

  • Unlike most island hotels and condos, there’s no “service charge” at our properties. No “housekeeping fee”, “resort fee”, “security deposit”, etc., nothing added to our rates except the government’s Accommodations Tax
  • The government’s Accommodations Tax of 13% must be added to all above rates, as is the case at all Cayman hotels and condos
  • In our apartments, full housekeeping is done every weekday; in our condos, a full housekeeping service is done before you arrive and after you depart, but you’ll have a full second set of linen and towels (including beach towels) on hand, as well as your own washer and dryer, with detergent provided. Additional housekeeping service available at extra cost, but we really doubt that you’ll need it
  • Rates are per apartment or condo — not “per person” — and are based on lodging up to two guests in our apartments; and up to four guests in our condos
  • The apartments can sleep up to four guests, the condos up to six, with an extra-person supplement of US$30, per night
  • The extra-person supplement does not apply to children twelve years old or younger; no charge for booster chair or crib
  • Rates for stays straddling two seasons are calculated according to the number of nights falling in each respective season
  • Because of housekeeping costs, the minimum stay in our two-bedroom/two-bath condos and in our affiliated properties is three nights (except for special exceptions)
  • A non-refundable (but transferable) deposit of 25% (or minimum of one night charge if staying less than four nights) is required to book
  • Balances are due one month before arrival, or two months before arrival if arrival or departure falls in high or Holiday seasons
  • Check-in time is 4:00pm; check-out time is noon (apartments) or 11:00am (condos) unless otherwise arranged; luggage can be stored where it’s easily accessible if arriving early, or departing late
  • To avoid disappointment while booking your airfare, accommodations can be held for 48 hours with no commitment on your part
  • Above rates and conditions are subject to change without prior notice but, while posted, are in effect for all current and future reservations
  • Payment must be made by credit card, and we accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express

Rental Cars

  • All rates include a 4-door compact car (D-class), with automatic transmission and A/C, picked up and dropped off right at the airport. The compact car is ideal for one or two, or even three, plus luggage

  • Upon presentation of your driving permit from home, a local permit is automatically issued to you when picking up the car (valid for six months)
  • While the car rental firm will ask for an imprint of a valid credit card (not a debit card) for security and identification purposes, the total rental cost will be billed to Turtle Nest Condos — excluding any insurance you might opt for, the government’s “environment tax” (US$10.75/day) and any fee for additional drivers. These incidentals are paid directly to the rental car agency.
  • Rental car insurance coverage is optional, and you may be at least partially covered by your home/auto insurer or your credit card provider
  • To ensure validity of any provided coverage, be sure to use that credit card to pay for your stay at the Inn (at least the final balance), to pay for the non-included incidental fees (above) upon picking up the car at the car rental agency, and to check in at the Inn

Cancellation Policy

The initial deposit, while not refundable, is transferable — less a US$85 administrative fee — to a new stay. And you’ll have twelve months following the date of cancellation to decide new dates, subject only to availability and rates in effect when you rebook. However, we must be notified of cancellation by e-mail, at least two days before the due payment date of the remaining balance. As per the confirmation we send to you upon the booking the stay, payment of the remaining balance is due thirty (30) days before arrival, or sixty (60) days before arrival for reservations which fall fully or partially in our high or Holiday seasons.

Once a reservation is cancelled, we’ll of course not process the remaining balance; nothing further will be processed to your credit card until you rebook the new stay. But once the remaining balance is processed, the reservation becomes fixed, final, non-refundable and non-transferable. All reservations booked thirty (30) days or less before arrival — or sixty (60) days or less before arrival for stays falling fully or partially in our high or Holiday season — must be fully paid upon booking, and are immediately fixed, final, non-transferable and non-refundable.

Should, for whatever reason (i.e., credit card expired, transaction declined, etc.) the remaining balance not be paid on or before the due date indicated in the confirmation we send out, we’ll advise you immediately and allow an additional 24 hours. After that, the reservation will be considered to be cancelled by the reserving party, with all monies paid forfeited. This policy applies to reservations at all our properties.

Although perhaps less flexible than that of some large hotel chains, our policy is essential to the survival of a modestly-sized inn operating on a Caribbean island. Unlike most hotels in the US, Canada, Europe and other metropolitan areas, ours cannot count on any “passing trade”, or guests arriving by car at the last minute. We depend almost exclusively on an overseas clientele arriving by air for visits invariably planned well in advance.

This cancellation policy is the minimum we consider necessary to have any chance of re-booking accommodations. For guests foreseeing any possible reason for cancelling at the last minute, we strongly suggest purchasing travel insurance, to cover the cost of both your accommodations and airfare. In the spirit of this policy, our sole responsibility is ensuring that the accommodations are available to you as booked, and essentially as presented at our website and in our correspondence. Your responsibility, aside from paying for the accommodations, is to ensure that you’re able to make your way to the Inn to check in.

As such, we are not responsible for cancelled/revised flights; government/passport/visa regulations and entry restrictions; babysitter/pet-sitter arrangements; school or work rescheduling; health issues; deaths; divorces; separations; financial problems or any other issue, however unfortunate, which may prevent you from arriving at the Inn as booked. We do hope that you can appreciate our situation as independent innkeepers in the Caribbean, and we sincerely thank you for your understanding.

HURRICANE EXCEPTION: The Inn is a participant in the Cayman Islands “Worry Free Hurricane Guarantee”, which covers any related cancellation made prior to arrival and compensation if vacation time is cut short due to a hurricane threatening Grand Cayman. The Guarantee includes a full refund of accommodation fees, with a maximum one-nightpenalty for cancellations made up to 48 hours prior to check-in as soon as a hurricane watch is issued by the Cayman Islands authorities.
